Katya Tripp, L.Ac is a graduate of Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she earned her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1997. She is a Nationally Board Certified Diplomate of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology via the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). In Addition she is certified in Toyohari Meridian Therapy, a highly refined Japanese form of Acupuncture.

Katya’s gentle treatments are profound and transformative. Although able to draw on a range of effective Acupuncture methods, Katya specialty is a highly refined, 5 Element Japanese method called Toyohari. It addresses not only a persons symptoms but their root constitutional imbalance as well. It is very gentle, able to be used on children and sensitive people as needles can be used in a painless way. Katya begin her career in natural healthcare as a shiatsu ( Japanese Acupressure) therapist in New York City. Her treatments often include a combination of shiatsu and acupuncture, a tremendously relaxing and enjoyable experience. Ideal for general stress reduction and health maintenance as well as addressing a wide range of chronic and acute disorders.
Katya’s philosophical approach to treatment includes a strong emphasis on patient education. She encourages patients to actively participate in the healing process and often incorporates lifestyle changes and herbal medicine in her treatment plans.
